We continue to work with area officials on timelines for full power restoration in both the North Carolina/Virginia and Florida areas impacted by Hurricane Michael.
Those communities that are dealing with outages are prepared with permanent or temporary generators as well as water, food, medications and supplies.
Below is information about any community that has been relocated, if your loved one’s community is not listed, that means there are no immediate plans to relocate residents.
Hurricane Michael made its way to the East Coast on Thursday and caused some power outages in the North Carolina/Virginia area. However, we saw many of those come back online yesterday/overnight.
For those with outages, we were prepared and we have either permanent or temporary generators as well as water, food, medications and supplies until the local officials can fully restore power in the area. Everyone has reported as doing well.
We continue to work with local officials and power companies on a timeline for full power restoration. While we wait, we want you to know that the communities are equipped with permanent or temporary generators as well as water, food, medications and emergency supplies to care for residents.
Brookdale Panama City
For the comfort of the residents, while repairs to the community are made, we made the decision to relocate them to Brookdale Atrium Way in Jacksonville, Florida.
The residents arrived safe and sound on Friday afternoon.
