During the entire month of March, Brookdale’s President of Senior Living Cindy R. Kent was one of eight healthcare innovators honored by the National Inventors Hall of Fame in Alexandria, VA.
In an exhibit sponsored by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) to help celebrate National Women’s History Month at the Hall of Fame, Kent was prominently featured for her vision and business leadership in healthcare. This includes her career work at 3M’s Healthcare Business Group and Medtronic before joining Brookdale in January of 2020. The exhibit recognized women who have made an impact in the health care field and who are shaping its future.
“I was humbled to be selected for this recognition alongside some truly remarkable women,” said Kent, who is a past recipient of the SWE’s Suzanne Jenniches Upward Mobility Award. “This recognition reinforced my ongoing desire to leave people, places, and things better than I found them, to leave a legacy of positive impact.”
